The Aims and Objectives of AMMS are:-
- To promote useful education, scientific and traditional knowledge among the youths and rural communities through formal and non-formal means.
- To facilitate rural students and provide necessary amenities to undertake political education, fine arts, skill in paintings and design works and life skills.
- To promote libraries, reading rooms to develop good reading habits for the students’ community in particular and the public in general.
- To work for bringing together the community/communities to identify the great literary works, history, traditional and useful knowledge passed on to them from generations together and promote dissemination of it through books, posters, pamphlets, short stories etc.
- To disseminate knowledge and educate the communities through various awareness campaigns and promote broader outlook for social good.
- To promote scientific outlook among the girls and sufficiently educate and equip them to take up the challenges of future life through formal and non-formal education and trainings.
- To promote fine arts by facilitating rural women, youths and young girls to achieve sufficient skills and trainings to stand on their own feet.
- To foster, preserve and promote the rich traditional and cultural heritage, local languages, traditional knowledge by facilitating the communities to learn and exhibit through various means.
- To create awareness about the traditional values in preserving rich flora and fauna, biodiversity and its linkages with cultural diversity and thus help them to preserve natural history of ours.
- To disseminate socially useful knowledge including political, social, economical, historical, cultural etc. by print, visual and audio media.
- To promote scientific thinking by promoting public museums and galleries of works of art, collections of natural history, mechanical and philosophical inventions, instruments or designs.
